It’s hard to beat free DLC, especially when it’s for a brand-new game that has already made a strong impression. That’s exactly the case with Capcom’s latest entry in its iconic samurai action-adventure series, Onimusha: Way of the Sword.

Released earlier this month, Onimusha: Way of the Sword marks the long-awaited return of Capcom’s beloved franchise after a two-decade hiatus. The last major new entry in the series was Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, which launched for PlayStation 2 in 2006.

Onimusha: WotS - Outfit for the Oni Lady: Hinoa, Capcom

• Outfit for Oni Lady: Hinoa: This stylish outfit is designed for Oni Lady, Miyamoto Musashi’s loyal companion in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The costume is inspired by the attire worn by Hinoa the Quest Maiden from Monster Hunter Rise.
• Outfit for Okuni: Yomogi’s Dance: This outfit is designed for Musashi’s other companion, Izumo no Okuni. The costume takes inspiration from Yomogi the Chef from Monster Hunter Rise.
• Onimusha: WotS – Materials Pack: Red Souls I: This free DLC pack gives players 2,500 Red Souls, which can be used to upgrade Musashi’s abilities and improve his progression in the game. Given that this pack is titled “Red Souls I,” it could also hint that more free material packs may be released for Onimusha: Way of the Sword in the future.
