A new Stardew Valley mod aims to answer your most burning questions about the game, and lore-obsessed fans will certainly want to check it out.

Stardew Valley’s world is a rather odd one, and even though the game does its best to try and explain away some of these oddities, they’re not always given the most plausible answers.

Fortunately, one fan really thought about this, and decided to make a new mod which aims to answer the biggest questions about Stardew Valley that have been left unanswered.

Stardew Valley Explained by modder Dolphin Is Not a Fish adds five new events to the game, each one aiming to solve one of the game’s greatest mysteries.

“How can your cows get pregnant if they’re all female? Where are the villagers’ bathrooms? Who put Krobus’s name on the calendar?” reads the mod description on Nexus Mods.

“Whether you’re looking for these answers yourself or just need a handy link to throw at a wiseass on social media, this mod has you covered! Stop living in the dark! Stardew Valley Explained will explain all sorts of things that never actually needed explaining!"

How does the mod work?

Each of the new events added will require you to fulfill certain requirements first before you can get them to trigger. For example, finding out where all the villagers’ bathrooms are requires you to get to eight hearts with Evelyn.

It sounds like a great mod for Stardew Valley lore experts who want to flesh out the world and add some non-intrusive explanations for these unanswered questions.

As for whether the mod will be updated in the future, Dolphin Is Not a Fish has mentioned that if there are any more questions you’d like to see answered, be sure to leave them in the comments section and they’ll consider it for a future update.

But for now, this should suffice in terms of explaining away some of Stardew Valley’s more egregious errors.

In related Stardew Valley news, lead developer Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone has announced another big update will be coming to the game in the future.

Although details are pretty light at the moment, the game will indeed be receiving a 1.7 update at some point. It’s currently unknown what will be featured in the update, but considering how colossal these major updates tend to be, we can only imagine how massive it will end up being.
