Skyrim goes full Stardew Valley in this excellent free Steam download

The land of Skyrim has everything from blacksmiths, taverns, windmills, ruins, and temples and although there are also a fair share of farms, getting to live out your days as a farmer is not possible.

Well, until now.

Bringing the world of Stardew Valley to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, one creator has made a free-to-download mod which will see you get to build your very own farm at Heljarchen Hall.

Heljarchen Farm was created by Skvindt over on Nexus Mods and will allow the player to rebuild a farm, hire workers, grow crops, and even earn gold in the land of Skyrim.

“Heljarchen Farm is a player-owned farm that allows you to rebuild a once-abandoned property into a functional farming business,” the official description reads.

“Restoring the farm to its former glory will reward the player with income every day and the ability to harvest crops grown on the farm fields.

The farm can even be upgraded further with the construction of a small meadery and guardhouse, allowing you to earn gold from a meadery operation, with guards protecting your goods against thieves.”

To construct the farm, players will have to collect materials from across Skyrim or just hire construction workers to do it for you.

Once the bare bones are built, you can get to work on growing and maintaining crops and even using your repaired meadery to provide your very own homemade mead.

You can earn profit from your farm, meadery and alchemy store which can either be used to upgrade your businesses or to fund your own adventures.

Last but not least, you can decorate your farm with chosen flags but whether you choose to support the Stormcloaks or the Imperials is up to you.

With many more structures and features to explore, Heljarchen Farm is an unmissable mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
