Red Dead Redemption 2: Vestigia brings PS6-level graphics to the game

Red Dead Redemption 2: Vestigia brings PS6-level graphics to the game

A new Red Dead Redemption 2 mod, titled Vestigia, brings incredible updated and improved graphics to the game.

Despite Red Dead Redemption 2 already being one of the most graphically stunning games on PC, one player has added a ‘few’ mods which has made the game even clearer than my eyesight.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was first released back in 2018 to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Despite it being a title launched on last-gen consoles, it is still as beautiful today as it was five years ago. However, some players just want more and modders are happy to oblige with the Vestigia mod pushing the game to 8K resolution (with a few more mods added on for good measure).

Check out some funny wins & fails from Red Dead Redemption 2 below!

A video posted by Digital Dreams showed them running Red Dead Redemption 2 with over 100 mods installed, including the Vestigia mod with the ReShade raytracing preset. All these boosts allowed the Rockstar title to run at 8K 60fps and the results are breathtaking, giving us a look into the future of the PlayStation 6.

The Vestigia mod overhauls a series of features in the game including overhauling weather transitions, changing the temperature system, adjusting chances of different weather, time-cycle overhauls, visualsettings.xml changes, changes in the wind system, more foam when in contact with water, and more.

If your PC is able to run 100 mods without blowing up, then this is definitely something you should try out as enjoying 8K 60fps is only accessible on PC. However, it is certainly not easy without forking out a lot of money so as much as we would love to see Arthur Morgan’s pores, it might not be worth it. If you’re feeling brave enough, however, this will be the perfect time as Red Dead Online is currently celebrating Halloween. If you like killing ghouls and earning a lot of free items, this will be the perfect time to log on.

In related news, Red Dead Redemption 2 may be heading for a 60fps update after Red Dead Redemption recently received the updated treatment.
