It may have only been seven years since Red Dead Redemption 2 was first released but with technology coming on leaps and bounds over recent years, it is no wonder that players are pushing the boundaries when it comes to the graphics of last-gen titles.
That is why one Red Dead Redemption 2 fan has been working on an “enhanced” version of the 2018 Rockstar release.
Enhanced Red Dead Redemption 2 is a brand-new mod which introduces a Reshade preset to Red Dead Redemption 2.
This will not affect the gameplay in any way and is the most simple to implement when it comes to mods but it will aim to “use the best shaders available to give the best enhanced graphics for you”.

With this mod only going live earlier this week, it is currently hard to know how it is being received by users but with almost 100 downloads under its belt, it is safe to say that RDR2 fans are eager for a way to boost the game’s graphics to the limit.
Created by Awesome Mods, Enhanced Red Dead Redemption 2 does not include a list of the graphical enhancements but the user claims that it adds “more proxy for new generation of games”.
The mod comes alongside four images that perfectly showcase the Reshade in action.
We see Arthur standing by some ramshackle huts and it is hard not to notice the lush greenery that surrounds him. He also takes place in a shootout in Saint Denis and the blue coats of his enemies stand out like never before, but not enough to burn your corneas.

The final two images showcase Arthur mixing with some locals and the sandy ground looks vibrant and alive whilst the colours of the distant mountains pop more than ever.
Last but not least, we see a dark and gloomy street full of businesses and although the day is overcast, there is still plenty of light to create the perfect atmosphere.
This is just an example of what Reshades are capable of when it comes to titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2, so make sure to check this one out if you are in the market for a change.
