There is no denying that Red Dead Redemption 2 is already stunning despite graphics having come a long way since it was first released back in 2018.
Taking place across a 19th century fictionalised version of America, Red Dead Redemption 2 is home to so many stunning locations such as Saint Denis, Bayou Nwa, Scarlet Meadows and more.
But what if I told you that you can experience these iconic locations in even more detail thanks to a brand-new mod which greatly increases the game’s graphics?

Well, that is now possible thanks to Wow… That’s Beautiful, a free-to-download mod from creator Me (not me) over on Nexus Mods.
This mod aims to add enhanced AO (Ambient Occlusion), vibrant colours, improved lighting, finer texture detail, and other graphical improvements to make Red Dead Redemption 2 look even better than before.
The modder describes it as “a combination of graphical improvements from promotional trailers and cutscene time cycles, specifically made to add more life”.
Not only that but Wow… That’s Beautiful also removes the in-game pedestrian light option which is an “artificial glow used to add emphasis in certain lighting conditions”.

However, this lighting can often clash with graphics, especially in scenes featuring a lot of the colour white and so this removal greatly enhances the look of the game.
Last but not least, this mod is compatible with other visual mods so you won't have to sacrifice your ever-growing mod list in order to make room for this one.
It won’t make any changes to gameplay, but it is definitely worth investing in if you want to see the Rockstar title in all its glory or are a budding virtual photographer.
Wow… That’s Beautiful is just one of thousands of mods available on Nexus Mods for Red Dead Redemption 2 so if you play the game on PC, you know where to go.
