If you think you've experienced zen and tranquility before, think again, as this immersive cat cafe simulator takes the furry feline fun of Stray and combines it with the progressive world-building expertise of Habbo Hotel.
From chin tickles to laser chasing, take out the sassy claw scratches, and there are fewer animals in the kingdom that make better playmates than the cat.
Calico epitomises that, launching you into pawadise - a cat cafe.
And, for a limited time on the Epic Games Store, it's absolutely free.
Launched in 2020 and re-released on new-gen consoles in 2023, Calico is a beautiful simulator that allows players to take control of a run-down cat cafe and begin making a home for a variety of the cutest critters on earth.

The title boasts a Very Positive score on Steam and offers hours of unbridled joy in the comfort of nature's friendliest companions - it even topped off our list of the 11 coziest PC games just two months ago.
With baking minigames, the ability to ride cats or let smaller ones mount on top of your head as you undergo fetch quests, and adorable animal interactions at every corner, the Calico is the free cosy girl weekend grind that you've been looking for since Pokopia stole the show.
Usually costing a few weeks' pocket money with a £10 price tag, the cat cafe is opening its doors to a wealth of new players.
Until June 4, players can enjoy Calico for free on the Epic Games Store.
There's even a flash sale on Steam, if you prefer that PC games launcher, discounted to just £2.78.

"I quickly warmed to the delightful characters, but was left feeling shortchanged by the limited storytelling and quests," we wrote.
"I had fun running around with a cat on my head, but was underwhelmed by the lack of any needs required to be fulfilled regarding my animal friends.
"I enjoyed baking sweet treats and decorating my cafe, but quickly discovered I couldn’t expand the premises
So, with one week of action, that's just about right to get your cutesie dopamine fix without becoming wearisome.
If you want more of an investment, though, you can consider the best Animal Crossing alternative in Neko Michi.
