If you’re old enough to remember the release of Mass Effect 3, you might remember that its controversial ending landed the game in a bit of a hot spot with fans at the time.
Obviously, here’s a spoiler warning for a 13-year-old game. In case you were thinking about playing Mass Effect.

Although BioWare later released an “extended cut” DLC which expanded on each ending choice and gave players a little more closure, the damage was still done.
One thing in particular that fans wanted was a simple happy ending to close out the story, while also feeling the full weight of your choices on the wider narrative.
Citadel Epilogue Mod, recommended to be used in conjunction with Audemus' Happy Ending Mod, is an expanded ending to Mass Effect 3 which pushes all of the Citadel DLC content to occur after the ending of the game.

Citadel was very popular with fans for its interactivity and storytelling with regards to character relationships. As the final piece of content released for Mass Effect 3, it was an excellent way of tying up the Shepard trilogy.
So, the mod simply lets it occur after the ending game, where it probably should have been all along.
Obviously, this mod changes a few fundamental things about Mass Effect 3’s ending. For starters, Shepard lives no matter which ending you pick. It also removes references to Reapers, Cerberus, or "winning”, which would help reinforce the idea that Citadel takes place after the ending.
You can download the Mass Effect 3 Citadel Epilogue and Happy Ending mods from Nexus Mods.
