What we know about Mass Effect 5 can fit on the back of a postage stamp but with the franchise being loved by so many, we will take whatever we can get.
Initially teased back in 2020 before being formally announced at The Game Awards, Mass Effect 5 is reportedly in development over at BioWare but details remain scarce.
It has been eight years since the last entry, Mass Effect: Andromeda, was released and with the fourth Mass Effect instalment being met with mixed reviews, BioWare has a lot to live up to if it wishes to meet the standards of the original trilogy.

Although we have still received no official update for Mass Effect 5, a recent announcement has repealed that Mass Effect is officially back.
Just not in the way you would have initially hoped.

“But now the fight has gone galaxy-wide, with a host of exclusive Mass Effect content arriving via your nearest relay,” the official press release reads.
