PC gamers can claim an amazing free game to play - and it’s one of 2025’s finest, none other than Dispatch.
We are all familiar with subscription services like PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass. For a still reasonable fee in the grand scheme of things, we can access tons of games for a monthly cost that is significantly cheaper than any newly released AAA title. However, there is one subscription service that always appears to be overlooked by the masses.
That subscription service is Amazon Luna (formerly Amazon Prime Gaming). Perhaps it’s overlooked because Amazon Luna is seemingly for PC gamers, but that shouldn't really put you off, as it’s not entirely true.
Most of the games in the service are streamable, so you don't need a gaming PC to play them. As long as you have a capable internet connection, you can play Amazon Luna titles on PC, smartphones, tablets, TVs, Fire TV, and more. You can even play the games using a PlayStation 5 DualSense or Xbox controller.

Amazon has announced its latest batch of free games, and it includes the aforementioned Dispatch, which won the Steam Awards 2025 – Game of the Year.
Developed and published by AdHoc Studio, Dispatch is a masterful blend of storytelling and animation. If this were an actual animated series, I have no doubt it would be a success on Amazon’s Prime Video.
Many of the developers at AdHoc Studio worked at Telltale Games, which brought us the likes of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and Batman: The Telltale Series, to name a few. So if you loved any of those games but have missed that method of storytelling over the years, you need to play Dispatch right now, and it’s never been easier to do so.

“Dispatch’s opening two episodes have assured me of what an exceptional experience this game is going to turn out to be. AdHoc Studios has nailed it across the board,” said GAMINGbible’s Kate in her review.
“Dispatch boasts engaging storytelling, amusing humour, perfect cast performances, and beautiful animation, all backed up by a unique and compelling gameplay system that allows the experience to sing. This is shaping up to be one of the best games I’ve ever played.”
Dispatch is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2.
