I don’t need to keep spelling it out to you; Fallout 5 isn’t set to land anytime soon.

It’s with that in mind that we’ll have to keep making do with Fallout 4.

‘Making do’ perhaps isn’t a fair use of phrasing as Fallout 4 is a fantastic game and I don’t want to undersell that.

Even brilliant games though can begin to feel a tad tiresome when you’ve played them umpteen times.

That’s where mods come in as these fan creations can truly transform our favourite games, infusing them with a new lease of life.

‘Dak’s Explosive Pack’ does just that, overhauling Fallout 4’s gameplay by introducing a ton of new weapons.

New to the world of Fallout? Take a look at our guide below.

‘Dak’s Explosive Pack’ is the work of NexusMods user DegenerateDak.

In total, it adds 17 new weapons including explosives, incendiaries, knives, and more.

Players will gain: smoke grenades, incendiary grenades, incendiary mines, makeshift grenades, nail bombs, impact grenades, sticky grenades, demolition charges, dynamite, military dynamite, a dynamite bundle, a military dynamite bundle, time bombs, throwing knives, throwing axes, poison throwing knives, and poison throwing axes.

Phew, that’s a lot.

As you can see, this mod pack is perfect for those who enjoy ranged combat and don’t want to get caught up in too many melee close-quarters encounters.

If you want to find out exactly what each weapon does, I urge you to check out the mod’s patch notes.

Each weapon has been custom made with unique models and textures, and they also come with custom loading screens and sound effects.

Wondering how to get your hands on these goods?

DegenerateDak has added a new vendor who can be found close to Mystic Pines.

If you are playing through the game on PC, it’s well worth a wander over to NexusMods to give this one a go.
