Cyberpunk 2077 Free Download Is Guaranteed To Brighten Your Day

Night City feels more alive than ever

The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is full of life, especially thanks to the unique and bizarre denizens of Night City.

However, with developers aiming to make fictional settings feel as alive and true to life as possible, there are always improvements that can be made.

Now in an attempt to remedy this and bring even more human interaction to Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City, one modder is offering a simple yet effective addition to the game.

Originally uploaded just last week and already boasting over 20,000 unique downloads, Say Hi Choom is a brand-new mod for Cyberpunk 2077 and is available now for PC players.

Created by S1nonim on Nexus Mods, Say Hi Choom adds greetings for both V and NPCs when they interact with each other.

“Did you find it unnatural that when visiting characters, they just stay silent, just like V?” the mod description asks.

“This mod fixes that and brings both the NPCs and V to life.”

Recommended to be used alongside other interaction mods such as Say Something Damn It, adding both of these to your game will make conversations feel a lot more natural as opposed to having your two characters engage in a standoff.

Now when visiting NPCs, V will offer a friendly greeting which will be returned.

Greetings will also vary based on the time of day and when visiting a specific NPC, V may even greet them by their name.

All of these interactions are randomised in an effort to not make them repetitive and if some NPCs already have scripted greetings, these new dialogue options will be added alongside.

Say Hi To All of Your Friends

With Say Hi Choom, some of our favourite characters will sound a lot more pleased to see us, including Viktor, Misty, Judy, Panam, River, Wakako, Regina, Padre, and many more.

As mentioned, it is a simple yet effective way to breathe even more life into Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City and could even give CD Projekt RED some tips into what to implement for its highly anticipated sequel.

“It's a bit different, but this reminds me of how much I like to spam the greetings in RDR2 when I see strangers,” one user commented on the mod.

“Either way, this mod is another one for my next playthrough's load order...next year.”

Another agreed, adding, “Hi first off amazing mod! Absolutely necessary for any immersion loving choom out there! Excellent mod, kudos and keep it up!”
