EA has revealed the final PC system requirements for Battlefield 6, and it sounds like you’ll need a beefy rig if you want to squeeze it for everything it’s got.
While we’re still excitedly waiting for Battlefield 6 following those excellent two open beta weekends, we still have just over a month to wait until the full game is in our hands.
PC players were able to use the open beta weekends to test the game out and see if it would run reliably on their machine. However, with it being a beta, the performance was likely not indicative of how the final product will run.
Thankfully, Electronic Arts has now released the final system requirements for the PC version of Battlefield 6.
As revealed by EA, the minimum requirements for Battlefield 6 are as follows:

This isn’t too dramatic. The Ryzen 5 2600 processor and RTX 20XX series graphics cards are both from 2018, so any PC built roughly in the last five to seven years should be able to target Battlefield 6’s minimum requirements.
With this setup, you should be able to run Battlefield 6 on Low settings, targeting 1080p and 30FPS.
Meanwhile, the recommended requirements for Battlefield 6 features much more demanding hardware:
Some of the more glaring differences here include Windows 11 being a recommendation (though, this probably won’t affect your experience in any meaningful way), as well as the game needing to be installed on an SSD.
It’ll also need a Ryzen 7 3700X and an RTX 3060Ti, which is dangerously close to my own PC build. Maybe it’s time I invested in an upgrade.
One other thing included in these specifications is the requirement to enable Secure Boot, a feature found in BIOS and something you may need to manually enable. Battlefield 2042 also added this requirement in an update, and it looks like this may become the standard for the series going forward.
Still, if your PC is only a few years old, you should have no problem running the game at the targeted 1440p and 60FPS these specs are requiring.
I probably wouldn't hold out hope of playing this on Steam Deck, though.
Finally, if you wish to play Battlefield 6 on Ultra settings, which targets 4K and 60FPS, you'll need the following:
Battlefield 6 will release on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 on 10th October, 2025.
