The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess returns in stunning new release

Babe wake up, the best Zelda game is back

The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess has returned in the last way we’d expect, a full-on manga adaptation.

While Zelda: Ocarina Of Time and Zelda: Breath Of The Wild/Tears Of The Kingdom are hailed as the best in the series, there’s a surprising amount of love for Twilight Princess.

Now there’s a whole new Zelda adventure though, Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom which is available now for Nintendo Switch

If you’re a diehard Twilight Princess defender you might be interested to hear the title has returned to us, but unfortunately not through an HD remaster on the Nintendo Switch, but we can still dream.

No, it’s actually returned through an 11-volume manga adaptation, telling the story of the game through gorgeous artwork.

The collection’s box art boasts illustrations of Twilight Princesses’ iteration of Link, which was Nintendo’s favourite for quite a while as the design was reused for art and Link’s Super Smash Bros appearances.

Also featured is the Twilight Princess herself Midna in her true form, arguably one of the best side characters in the Zelda series depending on who you ask.

The box-set is pricey though, costing an extraordinary $129.99 to own, but if you’re a fan of the story and love collecting it might be worth the price.

It’s still disappointing that Nintendo hasn’t ported Twilight Princess to the Nintendo Switch yet, and Zelda: Wind Waker as well.

Rumour has it that both games will be joining the Nintendo Switch library at some point in the future, but there’s no concrete evidence for this so take it with a pinch of salt.

Perhaps Nintendo doesn’t think the games are popular enough to be worth a re-release, but never say never, they might be being saved for the Nintendo Switch 2.

In the meantime though, fans praying for Twilight Princesses’ return will have to be satisfied with the manga collection, not the worst fate but still not what we wanted.
