All eyes are on the Nintendo Switch’s successor.

Although Nintendo has claimed that the Nintendo Switch 2 won’t be revealed until next year, that hasn’t stopped fans from being curious about which games will launch on it.

In case you missed it: Nintendo announced the Switch 2 in the most casual, true to fashion way possible.

Ever since, gamers have been scrambling to discover more information.

How do we feel about type swapping those beloved Pokémon?

And what do you know, a recent leak has seemingly unearthed news that Pokémon Gen 10 will be on the Switch 2.

In a tweet from @CentroLeaks, Gen 10 isn't said specifically, but is merely assumed after reference to “that project”.

The assumption that it’s the next generation of the franchise is a safe bet, and so we’re inclined to believe this leak. Especially given how much the Switch has struggled with newer releases.

“Gen 10 on next gen? SUCH A SUPRISING LEAK,” mocked one Redditor.

Okay, so this isn’t exactly shocking.

However, what did surprise us about this leak is that there’s reportedly a total of three Pokémon projects have been “greenlit”.

Naturally, speculation has ensued.

“Pokémon Legends: Z-A, [a] new Pokémon main series, [and] a Pokémon spinoff/remake,” is what will happen next as far as one fan is concerned.

Elsewhere, others were simply excited at the prospect of hardware that can handle the games, “I literally just want the Switch 2 to be able to do future Pokémon games justice while having a normal framerate It's reasonable enough... right?”

This is all we want: a game that runs well.

We suspect that Nintendo Direct will shed more light on what games will launch on the Switch’s successor, as those revealed at the showcase will likely be the last for the OG Switch.

As always, teasers/leaks need to be taken with a pinch of salt until official confirmation comes through. Or should we say, until Nintendo casually announces its plans.
