With The Super Mario Galaxy Movie still in cinemas, many fans have made sure not to miss the plumber’s latest adventure on the big screen.

The latest wave of free icons includes various characters from both Super Mario Galaxy games, including Rosalina, Toad, and Bowser Jr. There are also several Lumas up for grabs, as well as an image of Mario and Yoshi for the taking.
One user has even said they’re “in love” with an icon featuring Rosalina.
In total, there are 18 icons featuring these characters up for grabs. This also doesn’t include the new range of backgrounds and frames which are also available, which feature various Mario Galaxy-themed images and designs.
If you’re interested in grabbing any of these icons, you have until next Tuesday (28 April) to do so.
If you’d like to pick up any of these icons, you can grab them by booting up your Switch or Switch 2 console and heading to the Nintendo Switch Online app on the home screen.
Once that’s loaded up, go over to Missions & Rewards and find the section devoted to the new icons, where you’ll be able to start redeeming your Platinum Points to claim them.
The icons themselves cost 10 Platinum Points each, while backgrounds and frames cost five points each.

You can gain more Platinum Points by doing various tasks on your Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 console, such as playing specific games on your console or doing certain activities on the various Nintendo apps.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie released in cinemas at the beginning of April, and currently holds the number one spot on the list of highest-grossing films of the year.
The film starts Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black and Keegan-Michael Key reprising their roles, while Benny Safdie, Donald Glover, Glen Powell, and Brie Larson join the cast as new characters based on existing Super Mario figures.
