Nintendo Switch users claim loads of Super Mario freebies, but you only have a limited time, so you need to act fast.
When it comes to popular video game franchises, it doesn't get much more popular than Nintendo’s Super Mario series. While Mario made his debut in the 1981 arcade game, Donkey Kong, Mario truly became a household name with the launch of Super Mario Bros. on the NES in 1985.
From that moment forth, Mario, not forgetting his brother, Luigi, became a household name across the world, and whenever a new game is released in the series, it’s a huge event for Nintendo fans.
Recently, I had the opportunity to speak to the voice of Super Mario, Charles Martinet, and he probably adores his fans more than they adore him (and that’s saying something). But did you know that when he auditioned for the role of Mario, he’d never heard of the character?
Have You Played Mario Kart World on Nintendo Switch 2?
The most recent main Mario game in the franchise is Mario Kart World, which was a Nintendo Switch 2 launch title in June 2025.

“Mario Kart World might not be quite as easy to recommend as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe yet, but it’s still an absolutely fantastic kart racer that’s just as chaotic, imaginative, and vibrant as its predecessors,” said GAMINGbible alumni, Ewan, in his review.
