Nintendo Switch 2 gets free download you can grab now

The Nintendo Switch 2 is out in the world and with millions of copies already sold, we can safely assume that users are in love with the latest iteration of Nintendo’s handheld.

Offering a bigger and better performance to its Nintendo Switch predecessor, the Nintendo Switch 2 already has a handful of exciting games in its library.

This includes Mario Kart World, Hitman: World of Assassination, Disney Villains Cursed Café and the controversial Welcome Tour.

Of course, a lot more games are still to come and this free download is just one of them.

Announced by Nintendo UK over on Twitter, a free demo for Street Fighter 6 is now available on the Nintendo Switch 2.

“Hit the streets with Luke, Jamie or Kimberly in selected modes and try #NintendoSwitch2-exclusive features like local wireless play,” the Tweet reads.

This will give you the perfect opportunity to try before you buy as Street Fighter 6 retails at £34.99 when it is at full price on the Nintendo Switch 2.

First released back in 2023, Street Fighter 6 is the latest and seventh main title in the Street Fighter series by Capcom.

Spanning across three distinct game modes - World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub - Street Fighter 6 represents the latest revolution in fighting games.

With 18 fighters to choose from, you can choose who to dominate the ring with but when you are not fighting, you will be able to explore the streets in World Tour mode.
