Charizard voted greatest Pokémon of all-time in massive poll

If you’re not willing to admit that Charizard is the best Pokémon of all time, then you’re not ready for this article.

I'm not even sure I should be writing this, considering my one true Pokémon love is Bulbasaur – he’s just a cute lil guy. Yet, according to a massive poll, Charizard is the indisputable winner for being the greatest Pokémon of all time.

Over 52,000 people participated; when we say this poll is massive, we mean it.

Charizard beat all the other competition with 1,107 votes, however, Gengar came a close second with 1,056 votes. My boy Bulbasaur,came in fifth, which is a slight comfort, while all the way at the bottom is Yungoos. In fact, four Pokémon in total got no votes whatsoever; Yungoos, Eeletrik, Gothita, and Silcoon.

Surprisingly, few arguments have broken out regarding the results. Instead, Game Freak fans are coming together to find their fellow ‘mon lovers, aka the people who voted the same as them. “Where are my 54 other Magnezone lovers at?” asked one voter, which led to this wholesome reply, “LOL, I VOTED MAGNEZONE AND I WAS THINKING THE SAME. I'm one of them!”

We love seeing communities come together rather than being torn apart, and we, of course, love seeing huge amounts of love for classic Pokémon titles. “Reading this I realise why Game Freak milks the f* out of Kanto. Almost double the amount of votes to Hoenn and Johto.” They continued, “Also, I'm surprised Pokémon like Stunfisk got a vote. That's what makes Pokémon great, that everyone has their favorite, even if it's one that a lot of people dislike.”
