The publisher of Hogwarts Legacy, Warner Bros Games, has teased another Harry Potter game is on the horizon.

Despite the controversy surrounding Harry Potter author J.K Rowling, the wizarding world of Hogwarts Legacy performed exceptionally well in the eyes of critics and players all over the world.

While it was snubbed at 2023’s Game Awards, it sold an extraordinary 22 million copies since its initial release, making it the best-selling game of the year amidst competition from titles like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. To be fair though, its sales were bolstered by the fact it was available on just about every platform going, with releases on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC platforms, including last-gen ports.

That being said it fought for its title of best-seller, and the president of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, David Haddad, has teased it’s just the beginning for games based on the Harry Potter franchise.

In an interview with Variety about Hogwarts Legacy, Haddad called it "the best-selling game of the year in the entire industry worldwide,” going on to say "We’re so proud that we’ve been able to break into the top ranks.”

Warner Bros even shared some of the player stats across all platforms, revealing there were 819 million potions brewed, 593 million beasts saved, 5 billion evil wizards defeated and a partridge in a pear tree.

Hadden then teased us by saying the company has plans for “a series of other things” set in the Hogwarts Legacy universe, including the upcoming Quidditch game, though Hadden stated they currently have no “particular announcements on exactly how and when [the Quidditch game] is going to come to the market.”

As for Hogwarts Legacy, if you’re not one of the 22 million people already playing the game you can join them on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC platforms.
