One day we’ll get to see the GTA VI map because we’re exploring it, but today isn’t that day.

Still, while we aren’t able to play the new GTA title just yet, we can stare in awe at its size.

We already know this Rockstar Games experience is a whopper, but it’s when you look at the size of the map that the realisation of how overwhelming it is starts to sink in.

With so much ground to cover, gamers are already planning how they’re going to traverse from one end of the map to the other.

One user has a very simple, albeit slow, method in mind.

It's time to watch the GTA VI trailer

“Can’t wait to drive a mail truck at 50 mph from the bottom to top of the map,” they joked.

User Knightmaster8502 quipped, “Florida Truck Simulator 2025 is looking really sweet!”

If you’ve always wanted to know what life on the road is like, with a bit of chaos thrown in for good measure, then this is one map you’ll want to explore.

Putting the jests aside for a moment, gamers are impressed that the GTA VI map isn’t all just swamps.

“I have to admit, from the start I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about returning to Vice City knowing the geography/100s sqm of flat swampy land (I like my mountainous regions),” explained Apollo-1995.

They added, “But seeing these maps, and now the trailer, I think R* can pull off an interesting map design here, maybe even include some mountains in the north.”

It’s not all rainbows and sunshine for fans though, as they’ll be seeing in the new year without that second GTA VI trailer.

Adding insult to injury, the game even won an award before it’s out, which goes to show just how hyped everyone is about the game.

The map might have grown even bigger by the time it actually launches.

And we’ll be ready. Overwhelmed but ready.
