Those excited for Grand Theft Auto VI have a very specific, yet entirely justified concern about the game’s story length, and I’m not sure there’s a correct answer to their problem.
At this point, I think it’s fair to say that Grand Theft Auto VI is the most anticipated game of all time.
I don’t have any metrics or data to base that on, but c’mon. The hype surrounding Rockstar Games’ next entry in the GTA franchise is something I have witnessed since, well… Red Dead Redemption II, I guess.
However, all of this hype comes paired with an understandable concern. If tens of millions of people are chomping at the bit to get their hands on GTA VI on release day, aren’t we all going to have the storyline spoiled for us immediately?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has proven time and time again that people on social media just do not give a rat's ass about spoiling stuff these days, so the folks that bomb through Jason and Lucia’s story in the first 48 hours are inevitably going to ruin it for the rest of us.
Over on the r/GTA6 subreddit, one user pitched this fear to the community, and asked fans exactly how quickly they plan to burn through the main story missions.
“Medium pace cause I do want to get spoiled, but still want to enjoy my time”, commented user StingingGamer.
“Take your time and enjoy the ride. The next game will probably be 20 years from now”, replied user HorrorMovieMonday.

Personally, I’m going to have to absolutely rinse through it at supersonic speed, as I’ll have to know exactly what happens in case there’s something I have to write about it, but in the case of the rest of you… I’d suggest you take your sweet time.
Turn off all the notifications for your social media apps for a week. Block every variation of “GTA 6” or “Grand Theft Auto” on Twitter or Reddit or whatever you use. Honestly, don’t even check the news. Just take your sweet time and enjoy it.
We’ve all waited too long for this game for some idiot on Facebook to spoil the ending for us.
