GTA 5's map has a secret you can never unsee once you spot it

GTA V fans have spotted a humorous detail about the game’s map, and now it’s engraved in my mind forever.

While we endure the agonisingly long wait for GTA VI, which might be even longer if the game is truly getting delayed, at least we can enjoy everything GTA V and its Online mode has to offer.

That being said, take a look at the trailer for GTA VI below

Whether you’re replaying the game’s story mode for the umpteenth time, building up your criminal empire in GTA Online, or filling it with mods until it no longer resembles a Grand Theft Auto game there’s still plenty you can do with GTA V.

That being said throughout all of your playthroughs or extended play sessions with the game, you might have never noticed that the island of Los Santos looks a little…strange.

If you’ve never noticed anything odd about it before, fear not, as this Reddit post might change your mind.

One user pointed out that when you stare at the game’s map for long enough, it starts to “look like Homer Simpson,” and honestly now we can’t unsee it.

You can genuinely trace the back of the cartoon characters head over to to his bumpy eyes and protruding nose, and now I don’t think I’ll ever be able to see anything else when I’m scanning the game’s map.

Of course this is purely a silly coincidence, unless one of the developers at Rockstar Games were really big fans of The Simpsons, which doesn’t actually sound that farfetched.

So when you’re next playing GTA Online with your buddies or cruising through the game’s story, try not to imagine you’re driving and battling across a beloved cartoon character’s face, though I’d argue that’ll make things more fun.
