Fallout: New Vegas is in desperate need of a sequel, though until Bethesda finally gets round to making one you should play this instead.

It’s become such a bland take to say Fallout: New Vegas is the best Fallout game, but it doesn’t mean it’s not true as the title, in my opinion, is the most replayable for its story, world, and faction variety.

Take a look at the teaser for Fallout: New Vegas below if you’re feeling nostalgic

While a sequel is at the top of a lot of people’s wishlists, including some former developers for the game, it’s unlikely we’ll get one without Xbox getting involved to make it happen.

Fortunately fans of the game have developed their own sequels, prequels and spin-offs in the meantime, one of which will take players to Mexico.

Fallout: Nuevo México is exactly what it says on the tin, an expansion to Fallout: New Vegas that takes you to a new open-world where you’ll encounter new faces and more quests in need of completion.

Part of the description reads: “Once the vibrant heart of a massive metropolis, Mexico City now lies in ruin, a battleground for factions struggling for dominance and survival. From the decaying colonia of Chapultepec to the submerged canals of Xochimilco, the city is a haunting blend of beauty and brutality.”

As you can imagine fans are ecstatic to play more Fallout, especially since Fallout 5 isn’t getting here anytime soon…

“After Fallout London released I was desperately hoping we'd see an update to this, I'm glad we're back” said one commenter.

“I hope this can get as much attention as Fallout: London did. You guys deserve the recognition!” added another.

Fallout: Nuevo México isn’t playable just yet as it’s still under development, though updates on its release will come eventually, and as some fans rightfully pointed out it could rival Fallout: London in quality.
