It’s been a big month for CD Projekt Red, as it recently announced that full-time development has started on its next game, The Witcher 4.
Hopefully it’s as good as its predecessor The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but we’ll see
Technically The Witcher 4 has been in development for a while but only in the early stages, as Cyberpunk 2077 needed more time to cook after it's difficult launch period.

That’s all been sorted now and fans believe that if the game released this year in its current state it’d easily be a contender for Game Of The Year, but given the steep competition of 2024’s releases I don’t know if it’d win…
It’s nice that it’s finally the game it was meant to be though, and there’s no better time to pick it up if you haven’t already, especially with an Ultimate Edition now available.
CD Projekt Red released a brand-new trailer for the Ultimate Edition yesterday giving fans who haven’t had a chance to play the game yet a taste of what it has in store.
It contains the base game, obviously, and the DLC expansion Phantom Liberty which gives you access to a new location and a whole new story to playthrough, it even gives you a new ending for the base game which I’d ague to be one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen in a game.
