The Last of Us and The Mandalorian have both drawn to a close again for now, but don’t think that that means that Pedro Pascal is no longer the man of the moment. He is.

A few days ago, it was revealed that Pascal has been cast in Ridley Scott’s upcoming Gladiator sequel - although we’re not sure at this point in time who he’ll portray. The actor also stunned at this week’s MET Gala in a rather fetching red get up, if I may say so. You can’t say that the guy isn’t busy. Pascal recently appeared at a The Last of Us press event - during which the showrunners revealed when season two will begin filming - and on the red carpet, the actor revealed to co-star Bella Ramsey why he always poses with his hand on his chest.

The Mandalorian’s third season may have ended but Ahsoka is just around the corner.

If you’ve seen a photo of Pedro Pascal on a red carpet, chances are you’ll have seen his classic pose. The actor tends to place his hand flat on his lower chest / upper stomach. You may have assumed that he just doesn’t know what to do with his hands but actually, there’s a much more wholesome reason behind the pose.

In a clip shared by Deadline, Bella placed a hand on top of Pedro’s. He turned to Bella and said, “Do you know why? Because my anxiety is right here.” It sounds then as if Pedro’s go-to pose is more a grounding technique to stay calm and relaxed during red carpets. I can’t say I’ve walked a red carpet, but I’d imagine it’s a very overwhelming experience - one that understandably may give you a few knots or butterflies inside.

Bella responds to Pedro with an understanding nod. Fans are full of adoration for the duo who have created such an incredible bond portraying Joel and Ellie. Who else is counting down the days until we see them back in action in season two? Or maybe that’s not the case - if you know, you know.
