'One Piece Film: Red' Announces Theatrical Release Date In US And Canada

Following its premiere in Japan last month, One Piece Film: Red will be sailing to cinemas in the US and Canada very soon.

Last month, the latest One Piece movie, One Piece Film: Red, premiered in Japan. As the fifteenth full length film in the series, it makes the notoriously massive series even bigger - something which will certainly delight fans, but will doubtlessly terrify the rest of us who are yet to catch up with it at all.

Take a look at the trailer for One Piece Film: Red right here.

Anyway, as reported by Polygon, the film now has a western release date nailed down - it’s set to hit theatres in the US and Canada on 4 November, shortly after its release in Australia and New Zealand on 3 November, so there’s not too long to wait now. Apparently, it’s currently the highest grossing One Piece movie yet, which, given how many there’s been, is pretty impressive.

“Uta - the most beloved singer in the world whose voice has been described as ‘otherworldly’ - is renowned for concealing her own identity when performing. Now, for the first time ever, she will reveal herself to the world at a live concert,” the official synopsis reads (via Polygon). “With the Navy watching closely, the venue fills with Uta’s fans - including excited pirates and the Straw Hats led by Luffy, who simply came to enjoy her sonorous performance - all eagerly awaiting the voice that the whole world has been waiting for to resound. The story begins with the shocking revelation that she is the enigmatic Shanks’ daughter.”
