Everyone loves a free game and today, I have a total gem for you. You can currently get your hands on one of 2021’s very best RPGs and there’s no catch. You just have to be a PC owner. See? Simple.
Admittedly, this one may have flown under your radar amidst the release of 2021’s bigger releases. Halo Infinite, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Forza Horizon 5, It Takes Two, and Deathloop all dominated sales that year. If you’re a PlayStation Plus extra or premium tier subscriber, you can actually grab Deathloop for free too. Today though, I’m here to talk to you about a game called Scarlet Nexus.

Developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Tose, Scarlet Nexus is an action RPG that sees players assume the role of either Kasane Randall or Yuito Sumeragi. You’ll then join the Other Suppression Force (OSF) as a cadet where your mission is to eliminate creatures known as Others - a kind of organic and mechanical hybrid. If this sounds interesting to you, you can currently play the game for free via Steam.
