It always starts with a question. This time someone headed to Reddit with one idea in mind, "Who is the most unintentionally annoying video game character?"

Seemingly many people chose violence when answering this question. An innocent owl takes the first shot and becomes the most popular answer, too. The owl from Zelda: Ocarina of Time is, apparently, the most annoying. Mostly because of his asking "Would you like me to repeat that?" The answer was never yes.

Zelda has created many unforgettable moments over the years

This answer spawned perhaps the next most popular answer, which was an agreement with the owl, saying "The f**king owl of Ocarina of Time is the true villain." Of course, some could have chosen another Zelda character in Navi, from the same game, who was forever chirping in the player's ear.

Form another RPG, this time Fallout 4, we have Preston Garvey as a mention who always seemingly met you in your settlement to say "There's a settlement that needs your help, I'll mark it on your map." Poor Preston was also called a "Such a do nothing bitch."

It seems that RPGs tend to produce the most annoying characters as Hop, from Pokemon Sword and Shield makes an appearance from several users. The problem here was that Hop would keep appearing to challenge you but their Pokemon wouldn't scale, so you always battered them.

Other characters feeling the ire of Reddit are; Ava from Borderlands; Javier from chapter one of Red Dead Redemption 2 apparently makes one user want to "throw Javier into the glacier depths"; then there's the constant prompt in GTA IV. of "Niko, let's go bowling" even though we were always in the middle of committing a crime.

Who would you be choosing to put on the list of annoying characters?
