In case you’d forgotten, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine aren’t the only superhero titles currently in the works. And no, I’m not talking about that rumoured Iron Man game. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is also a thing that exists - the upcoming tactical RPG is set to feature a whole host of fan-favourite characters in an all-star roster, including Captain America, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, the Scarlet Witch and Wolverine.
Over on the official Marvel’s Midnight Suns YouTube channel, a new video has been released showcasing Wolverine in action, and it looks like he’s going to be a pretty formidable ally, with some ferocious attacks.
Take a look at the Midnight Suns Wolverine gameplay footage right here.
Wolverine’s gameplay style is largely focused on using his signature Adamantium claws to chain damage between multiple enemies. His specialty in the game is Tank and Distributed Damage, and as you might imagine, he’s also able to passively heal himself - he’ll even be able to revive himself once per battle if he falls.

“Wolverine’s intimidating form and eviscerating claws make it easy for him to Taunt enemies into focusing their fire on him instead of his allies,” the description on the Midnight Suns website reads. “His frenzied, animalistic fighting style keeps him pouncing from enemy to enemy, chaining his attacks to damage multiple targets with a single action.”
Marvel’s Midnight Suns has unfortunately faced a couple of delays now - originally set to release in March this year, it was pushed back to 7 October, and just recently, has been delayed yet again to “later this fiscal year”, which essentially means sometime before March 2023. Quite how long that’ll be remains to be seen, but at least it shouldn’t be any more than an extra five months.
