It sure is an exciting time to be a Marvel fan. With so many new films and shows on the horizon, it’s genuinely hard to keep up with what’s coming out and when.

Of course, it’s not long at all before the second Phase Five film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, hits cinemas - Peter Quill’s next adventure is set to release in just two weeks, on 5 May. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania really didn’t go down too well with fans, which is the last thing you'd want for the movie kicking off the newest phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so let’s hope that this one helps bring things back on track.

Take a look at the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 below.

While everyone is mainly getting hyped for the two upcoming Avengers films - 2025’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and 2026’s Avengers: Secret Wars - you might have forgotten about Blade. It’d be understandable if so, given how little we know about it - Bassam Tariq was meant to be directing it, but he ended up exiting the project last September. He said at the time: “It’s been an honour working with the wonderful folks at Marvel. We were able to put together a killer cast and crew. Eager to see where the next director takes the film.” After that, it wasn’t long before Blade was delayed from November 2023 to September 2024.

Now though, a bit more of that so-called “killer cast” has been revealed. According to Deadline, sources say that English actress Mia Goth (Emma, X, Pearl) is starring in the film - she’ll join American actor Mahershala Ali, who’s playing the titular vampire hunter. At the time of writing, it’s not known what Goth’s role will be in the film.

Plot details are still very light on the ground, so it’s tricky to speculate how big of a role she’ll play. It seems like it’ll probably be a while before we get a trailer given how long away the film is from releasing, but watch this space.
