Wolverine is confirmed to be going up against the son of a fellow X-Men hero in an upcoming release.

Wolverine is no stranger to conflict between foes and allies alike, with him regularly butting heads with fellow Marvel characters like the Hulk, Captain America, and, of course, Sabretooth.

With Logan being something of a gruff loner, these types of encounters are interesting for writers to develop, as his ideology and anti-hero persona can sometimes clash with other heroes in the Marvel universe.

Speaking of Wolverine, have you seen Deadpool & Wolverine yet?

Now, the latest issue of Wolverine: Revenge has set up a similar encounter with a fellow X-Men hero. Obviously, this article contains spoilers for Wolverine: Revenge #4.

Wolverine: Revenge #3 ended with Wolverine facing off against Colossus, who in this universe belongs to a team of villainous mutants who have turned the world upside down.

The comic run depicts Logan’s revenge against these mutants, with Deadpool, Omega Red, and Sabretooth also on the chopping block.

By the end of the third issue, Logan manages to bury each of these villains.

Of course, he who seeks revenge must dig two graves, as Issue #4 depicts a new threat that comes about as a result of Wolverine’s actions in the previous issues.

Twenty years have passed, with clones of Omega Red - calling themselves the Omega Clan - finding Logan and enacting revenge on him for the vengeance he took out years ago.

The issue ends with the reveal that Colossus’ son has been watching Logan from the shadows, and it looks like the run will end with a showdown between the two.

Colossus first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1 back in 1975, and has been a member of the X-Men ever since.

He’s a strong mutant with the ability to transform into a metallic form, making him one of the strongest members of the team.

In addition to various comic book runs, Colossus appeared on screen in several of the X-Men and Deadpool films.

Wolverine: Revenge #4 is out now, with the final issue slated for release on 26 March, 2025.
