Marvel fans will be very happy to know that there is a new way to play as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool and even the Avengers thanks to a new mobile game that has just been announced. And believe it or not, it’s actually a collaboration between Marvel and MONOPOLY GO!
If you’re not already familiar with the MONOPOLY GO! mobile game, basically it is the newest and latest take on the classic board game, with players having the ability to not only build up their own city, but also being able to tear down others' developments, to make even more money.
Since its launch in April 2023, players have passed “GO” more than 120 billion times and completed more than 5 billion boards. So, it’s not too surprising to see them expand the universe a bit and that’s where the Marvel characters come into play.

What do I need to know about the collaboration?
Set to run until December 4, MONOPOLY GO! x Marvel will give players the chance to collect 20 special sticker sets based on characters like Iron Man, Hulk and Groot, with new rewards and events also taking place.
And it all stems from Dr. Lizzie Bell – the in-game lead inventor of MONOPOLY GO! – accidentally unearthing a portal which welcomes the iconic superheroes into the game.

This is actually the first time that the famous game has incorporated a major franchise like Marvel into the casual gaming space and it might not be the last either.
But whether you’re new to the game or an existing player, it will certainly add something to its usual offering.
What events will take place?
There are three special events that players won’t want to miss and here’s what you need to know about them:

Avengers Racers: This new version of the already popular Tycoon Racers events will transport players to a theme park and the dodgems (or bumper cars) in particular. And with cars inspired by Marvel heroes such as Captain Marvel, Thor and Black Panther,it’s not your usual dodgems by any means.
Amazing Partners Event: While MONOPOLY GO! is typically a single-player experience, this event allows you to team up with another player to go about constructing your very own Marvel-themed statue in the centre of your gaming board. This definitely adds something to your everyday playing of the game.
Guardians of the Galaxy Treasures Event: And for those who love all things Guardians of the Galaxy, this event allows players to dig to uncover relics, treasures and items related to the beloved characters.
