Counting down to the launch of the overhauled PlayStation Plus service reminds me of counting the sleeps till Christmas as a kid. With just a few weeks to go, we don’t have long to wait at all. In fact, we’ve got a pretty good idea of what to expect as well, as the service has already launched in Asia.

There was some initial upset over upgrade fees as users who had purchased their pre-existing PS Plus membership with a discount were being charged higher fees to upgrade, but that all appears to be solved now. In fact, Sony have confirmed just how satisfied PlayStation Plus subscribers are.

You know what else is satisfying? Seeing this PlayStation 4 getting deep cleaned. Take a look below.

According to Sony’s latest business debrief, 72 percent of PS Plus subscribers are satisfied with the service. The survey only polled PlayStation 4 owners and it looks as if the survey is regarding the existing PS Plus service, prior to the overhaul. Within those who are satisfied, 33 percent of subscribers classed themselves as extremely satisfied.

Well, that’s nice to know. The survey found that 36 percent of subscribers classed access to online play as the main reason for their subscription, whilst 30 percent put it down to the monthly free games. On the lower end, 21 percent subscribed for game discounts and offers, and just 13 percent subscribed for cloud storage services.

To recap on what changes we can soon expect to see, the Essential tier is set to remain unchanged from what users have now while Extra will have over 400 PlayStation 4 and 5 titles to play on launch day. If you’re getting Premium, you’ll be getting all of that plus a bunch more classic games like Syphon Filter and Dino Crisis. I don’t know about you, but I am hyped.
