Fan-Made 'KOTOR' Series Trailer Looks Outstanding

Star Wars fans are never really starved for content these days - the multitude of Disney+ series that already exist are enough to keep anyone well-fed, and they’re not set to stop any time soon. Next month will see the release of Andor, and it’s also rumoured that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Survivor protagonist Cal Kestis could be getting his own live-action show in the future.

Take a look at the trailer for Andor right here.

In case that wasn’t enough, though, one incredibly talented team of fans are also working on their own animated Knights of the Old Republic series using Unreal Engine’s Virtual Production. A few days ago, they released a trailer for the first episode, and it looks genuinely stunning - take a look below.

Fans have been pouring out their support for the project: “This was AWESOME. Carth actually sounds like he’s voiced by Raphael Sbarge, everything looks fantastic. Between how realistic the faces are and how amazingly you've captured the Endar Spire, I am BEYOND impressed by this,” commented THE META. “This looks way better than I could have imagined it! […] Seeing the recreation/rebirth of these beloved Star Wars characters and the amount of love and attention to detail being put into this project is phenomenal. I don’t care how long this project takes; take your time and keep making this right!” wrote Stuart Shaw.

There’s currently no scheduled release window for the series, but fans can support the project on Patreon to get early access to updates.
