Jack Black's NSFW Bowser outfit censored by talk show

In a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Jack Black wore a Bowser costume that was a little bit too revealing to be shown.

When the first trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie dropped, it became immediately apparent that Jack Black is literally the perfect guy to play Bowser.

We may have only seen a few clips, but the actor’s performance of Mario’s arch nemesis has completely won over the internet. In fact, there are a rather worrying number of fans who love Black’s Bowser a little bit too much, as indicated by the many, many thirst tweets out there.

Take a look at the trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie below.

Anyway, as Kotaku reports, Black recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show talking about the movie with Chris Pratt (Mario), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad) and Charlie Day (Luigi). During the show, Black was “tricked” into dressing up as Bowser himself - the full-body costume was dangerously skin tight, and as soon as the actor launched himself onto the stage and began enthusiastically dancing around, the showrunners had to take action to prevent viewers from being greeted with a NSFW surprise. Take a look at the clip below.

As you can see, the actor’s crotch is completely blurred out for pretty much the entire duration of him being stood up, and we can only assume that the tightness of the outfit gave away more than it was meant to. Either Black didn’t notice or didn’t care at the time, because he gave his costars a full look at the costume before he eventually sat down.

After that chaos, it’s a reassuring thought that The Super Mario Bros. Movie itself is animated. Live-action Mario doesn’t have a brilliant track record - remember that cursed Mario ice skating show?

The release date of The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been moved forward slightly in many countries, and is now set to hit cinemas on 5 April, so there’s not too long to wait.
