Hogwarts Legacy's story will be different depending on which House you choose

According to a new leak, Hogwarts Legacy's story will change depending on which house you are sorted into.

If you’re a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S owner, the final countdown to Hogwarts Legacy has begun. That being said, it’s a game many have chosen to boycott. JK Rowling’s transphobic comments in recent months have left many Wizarding World fans feeling alienated by the author and so have chosen to step away from the franchise.

Some fans have taken to Steam to protest against the game, yet there’s also still a huge amount of hype surrounding its release. Last week, Simon Pegg joined the cast as headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black and now, a leaked Hogwarts Legacy art book is revealing more of the game’s secrets. An enormous world map has appeared online, plus insiders have teased that the game could take 70 hours to complete. Now, it appears as if your Hogwarts Legacy journey will differ depending on which house you choose, or are sorted into.

Take a look at Simon Pegg’s character below.

As reported by Dexerto, main quest chapters will differ slightly depending on which house you end up in - Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. According to the leak, one house will get to visit Azkaban while others don’t. That sounds like a destination for Slytherins, if you ask me, although that is purely me speculating. The leak claims that the story will ultimately wrap up in the same way.

This information is taken from the official art book so it seems fairly reliable but as with all leaks though, take this with a pinch of salt for now. If this is true, it certainly makes the game more replayable. I’d imagine it’s fun to experience the story from each house’s perspective.

The leak also touches on the usability of the Avada Kedavra curse, also known as the killing curse. This can reportedly only be learnt in a side mission which becomes available after the main story is completed. Post-story content? We like to see it.
