Hogwarts Legacy is out now and with it featuring PlayStation-exclusive content, some have wondered, is the game exclusive to the Sony brand?
Thankfully, Hogwarts Legacy isn't a PlayStation exclusive which means that it’s available for PC as well as all modern consoles. However, with that in mind, we’ll go through what the PlayStation-exclusive DLC includes.
As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, one of the main pieces of exclusive content for both the PS5 and PS4 is the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop. This exclusive content not only brings an exclusive mission to Hogwarts Legacy but other additional bonus goodies too.

What does the Hogsmeade Shop Quest entail?
“Cassandra Mason has a shop to sell you in Hogsmeade, but all is not as it seems in this run-down establishment,” says a post on the PS Blog. “ What sinister secrets lie beneath Madam Mason’s shop and why was she so keen to sell it?”

But wait, there’s more!
As revealed in a previous trailer, upon completing the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest, players will unlock their own shop to “sell items and gear at better rates than anywhere else.”
As for the Felix Felicis potion recipe, this is: “a luck potion that reveals gear chests on the mini-map for one in-game day, giving you a pretty lucky day on your journey as you explore Hogwarts and the surrounding areas.”
However, as with all recipes, you will still have to craft potions at the Room of Requirement and must attend Potion lessons to harness your crafting skills.
Additional Hogwarts Legacy bonuses
If you decide to pick up the Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s or Deluxe Edition, you will be granted the in-game cosmetic, the flying Thestral mount. This is the only way to acquire this DLC, however, this content is not PlayStation exclusive. What’s more, all pre-orders across all formats will include the Onyx Hippogriff mount. Happy days.
Wait, there’s a PlayStation-exclusive event?
Yes, that’s right, PlayStation is even getting an exclusive event. The event in question is the Hogwarts Legacy House Cup, which is a sweepstakes competition that gives fans an opportunity to win a PS5 console and more.
Will the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quests come to other platforms?
Thankfully yes, this content will only remain a PlayStation exclusive for a year after the launch of Hogwarts Legacy. After which, it will be available for PC, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

Hogwarts Legacy releases this week for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on the 10th of February or on today for those that pre-ordered the Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition or Deluxe Edition.
As for last-gen and Nintendo Switch owners, you’ll have to be a little more patient. Hogwarts Legacy will release on 4th April for PS4 and Xbox One, and then for Nintendo Switch on 25th, July.
