Hogwarts Legacy clearly saved the best for last, as one of the game's final secrets has reminded fans just how much care and attention the developers put into this open world.

Since releasing back in February, the Harry Potter RPG has dominated conversations and sales charts, and looks likely to be the biggest (if not the best) video game of 2023. While many have argued there's no way Hogwarts Legacy is competing with the likes of Baldur's Gate 3 and The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom when the GOTY argument rolls around in a few months, fans have had plenty of fun with the adventure.

Take a look at the attention to detail in Hogwarts Legacy below!

Hogwarts Legacy is a huge game filled with secrets, of course, but there's every chance you might have missed one of the game's best and last hidden gems - that's because one player stumbled across it quite by chance.

“I discovered by accident that using the transformation spell on classic animals turns them into objects!” posted by Redditor Eskylos, along with some brilliant screenshots. Stag are transformed into beer kegs with antlers, cats become balls of yarn, and cows become milk carts. Is this animal abuse? We'd assume the creatures eventually revert back to their normal selves, however another user pointed out if you use the same spell on animal enough times in a row, they'll transform into a bag of gold for you to pocket. That seems pretty evil.

"I saw someone do this and then levitate them above a trolls head, hitting the troll. It did insane damage," one user pointed out.

Anyway, if you're dead set on being a properly evil little shit then you might as well jump back into Hogwarts Legacy and try this out. Just know that we're all judging you behind your back, okay? Okay.
