There’s a lovely sense of joy when stumbling across something in a game for yourself, but finding out via other people gives you a reason to revisit and see things first hand.

Hogwarts Legacy is crammed full of little details for ambitious wizards and witches to find, most of which are tucked away in corners of the castle itself.

The latest entry in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was Quidditch Champions.

One such detail can be found with Professor Hecat who had a nasty incident with a Time Turner.

This can be seen for yourself by visiting them and gazing into the mirror nearby seeing that the professor’s reflection is a much younger version of them.

This was showcased on Reddit recently and one helpful Redditor by the name of Track_Long gave a bit more backstory.

“Time Turner accident of her time working for the [Department of Magic] at the [Ministry of Magic], she looks older than she really is,” begins the post.

This user only wishes the game tapped into the storyline for a more in-depth quest.

“It would have been great if Hecat had taught us more about our ability, a questline opens up involving her advice on how to go about developing our ability seeing how the keepers have absolutely no interest on teaching us anything of significance,” the user continues.

Others are shocked to see this little secret for the first time, “I never realised she was looking in a mirror,” said another Redditor.

Flat-Pattern-6998 also comments, “The hair is darker regardless of blur. Her own little Mirror of Erised that we get a glimpse of.”

This is just one of hundreds of little details in the game that build a strong sense of place and character for Hogwarts Legacy.

With news of a sequel on the way, we can only hope the next game builds on this and perhaps expands the Wizarding World of Harry Potter even further.
