GTA 6 fans have noticed that Rockstar has quietly updated the first two trailers for the game.

Rockstar Games launched the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 back in 2023, with the second one coming out following the first delay of the game earlier this year.

With GTA 6 now having been delayed a second time, in this case to 19th November, 2026, speculation around the third trailer’s release is now in tow.

In the meantime while we wait for that though, fans have noticed that Rockstar has quietly updated the first two trailers in the wake of this new delay.

As shared by X (formerly Twitter) user videotechuk, Rockstar has apparently updated the first two trailers for GTA 6 on its website with the new release date.

If you go onto the Rockstar website and find the video downloads page for GTA 6, you’ll see that both trailers do indeed have updated release dates on them, something that the original trailer uploads obviously didn’t have when they were first released.

Meanwhile, the trailers on Rockstar’s YouTube channel still have the original release dates attached to them. This is because Rockstar is unable to re-upload the video without taking down the original.

YouTube used to have a tool that let certain channels reupload videos while keeping the same URL, view count, and comments. However, this tool is no longer available, and so Rockstar has kept the videos up with the original dates.

Rockstar's GTA 6 trailers include the new date

I’m sure this won’t cause any confusion anyhow. Anyone even mildly interested in playing GTA 6 is probably aware of the delay, and so won’t be that confused when watching the trailer on YouTube. And if not, a simple Google search will set them straight.

As for when the third trailer may arrive, fans have speculated that it could be this week and as early as today.

These rumours have come from the fact that Rockstar released the second trailer a few days after announcing the original delay to May 2026. So, with another delay now pushing the release date back to November, fans reckon that the third trailer should come in a matter of days.

However, we’ll take all this with a grain of salt for the time being. There’s no telling when we’ll get Trailer 3 landing in our laps, so the best course of action for now is to just sit back and be patient.

If you’re genuinely struggling with the news of the delay, don’t forget that you have plenty of games to play in the meantime.
