After a devastating blow earlier this week, GTA 6 fans are now having to wait an extra six months for the game to release.
However, some fans have seen a new teaser from Rockstar Games that may suggest that Trailer 3 for Grand Theft Auto 6 could be on its way, but we’d recommend you remain sceptical.
Rockstar has debuted both previous GTA 6 trailers over on its YouTube channel, where they both received hundreds of millions of views. And it just so happens that one eagle-eyed fan has noticed a new video has been uploaded to the channel, but has been set to private for the time being.
Could Rockstar be about to debut Trailer 3?
As posted on the GTA 6 Reddit page, one user noticed that the video count for Rockstar Games’ YouTube channel reads 396 videos.
However, they claim that earlier in the week that number was 395, which would mean Rockstar has uploaded a new video in that time and set it to Private or Unlisted.

The original poster then uses this as evidence that the third trailer for GTA 6 could be about to debut, with it potentially being released next week.
“They uploaded a new video and listed it as private, could it be some new information regarding GTA VI, ready to be revealed on Tuesday?” wrote the OP.
In all fairness, I can see why some fans may have this theory. When GTA 6 was delayed for the first time back in May, Rockstar released the second trailer a few days later along with a large amount of screenshots.
However, we ought to stress why this is probably not the case here. For starters, Rockstar probably wouldn’t upload the next GTA 6 trailer as a Private or Unlisted video.
Given the hype and secrecy surrounding the game, I doubt the developer would even upload it ahead of time and then schedule it for a later date. There’s a high chance it could get leaked this way, as the original first trailer did.
Another reason this probably isn’t Trailer 3 is the fact that GTA Online is about to debut a new update next month, titled Mansions.
The update will essentially allow you to buy Mansions using your massive GTA Online heist payouts. It looks like the ultimate endgame update as we move into the final year of support before GTA 6 launches.
So, this mysterious upload may simply be a trailer for the new Mansions update in GTA Online.
As for when Trailer 3 may actually deploy, I don’t think we’ll see anything for the rest of the year. In fact, given the 19th November 2026 release date, we might not even see anything until the summer.
