New GTA 6 'Trailer' Tease, Rockstar Take Note

A new GTA VI trailer tease has fans hyped, and it might be cause for Rockstar Games to take note.

As anticipation continues to build for the release of Rockstar Games’ next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, fans are already marking their calendars for when the next trailer might drop.

When Rockstar Games dropped the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023, it sent fans into a frenzy across social media. Perhaps even fans who had never played a Grand Theft Auto game in their lives were excited to experience what the Red Dead Redemption developers had cooked up.

Since that time, we’ve been treated to one further trailer and a release date delay. Now, Grand Theft Auto fans are hoping that the next GTA VI trailer is merely days away.

To capitalise on said hype, Reddit user anamorph235, has edited an alternative GTA VI trailer by piecing together the first two official trailers. And to be fair, it looks very professional, and may even give the folks at Rockstar Games a run for their money.

“I put together my take on a trailer of GTA VI using footage from the first two trailers. Wanted to give it a bit more cinematic flow with Bruce Springsteen music,” they said. To no surprise whatsoever, fellow users on the thread were more than impressed by the fantastic work of anamorph235.

“I have no words besides, well done," praised StrawberriFrogz.

“I came in expecting to be disappointed, and left thoroughly impressed. Great job," said EthanZine.

“This is, btw, the best fanmade GTA trailer ever. Congratulations,” replied TheAp4ch3.

When could GTA VI trailer three drop?

In recent weeks, fans have been speculating that GTA VI trailer three could arrive as early as 8 November, two days after Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, have an earnings call.

One such fan is Twitter user ViceCityGTAVI. In a tweet, the Twitter user explained why they believe GTA VI trailer three will arrive on 8 November 2025, as well as pre-orders finally going live.

For starters, we have the aforementioned earnings call on 6 November between Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. What’s more, in trailer two, on Jason’s watch (one of the two protagonists in GTA VI), it has the date 8 November.

Thirdly, 8 November just so happens to be the anniversary of when Rockstar Games announced the release date of the first GTA VI trailer, ahead of its December 2023 reveal. So, the speculation certainly adds up.

I guess only time will tell when Rockstar Games will release the highly anticipated third trailer, but we’ll keep you posted when that arrives.

At the time of writing, Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on 26 May 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
