GTA VI fans reckon they've discovered the release date for Trailer 3, and it's possible Rockstar was hiding it in plain sight all along.

Rockstar Games has released two trailers for Grand Theft Auto VI so far, but there's no chance it's going to leave it at that.

While the company hasn't confirmed any information regarding a third trailer, we're bound to get one eventually. It's just a matter of when.

Some fans reckon we'll get one towards the end of the year, while others insist it could be pushed into the beginning of 2026.

However, fans have spotted a small detail in the second trailer, which was released by Rockstar in May this year, which may hint towards a potential release date for the next trailer.

At around 32 seconds in the trailer, Jason is shown shaking down a store and collecting money from a cash register. In the shot where he's opened the register, his watch reads "11:08".

As posted by X (formerly Twitter) user GTA 6 Countdown, an account dedicated to news, leaks, and other information regarding the upcoming game, this could be a tease for Trailer 3's release date.

The time on the watch points to 8 November, which some fans have theorised might be the date for the next trailer drop.

As GTA 6 Countdown continues to write, 8 November also marks the two-year anniversary from when the first trailer for GTA VI was announced.

Additionally, Take-Two's next earnings call takes place on 6 November. This is another possible time that Trailer 3 could be announced.

Personally, I don't believe we'll see Trailer 3 on 8 November. For starters, that's a Saturday, which would be an odd day to upload it. If it was going to come in November, I feel like prior to the earnings call would be a safer bet.

As for the detail in the trailer, I imagine Rockstar simply added this number as a reference to when the first trailer was announced. It's a pretty significant date for Rockstar, after all.

Either way, nobody really knows when the next trailer will drop except for Rockstar, so we'll just have to cross our arms and wait it out in the meantime.

GTA VI is due to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 26 May, 2026.

Of course, it goes without saying that we'll be keeping an eye out throughout November should any news surprise us and surface.
