Fans should brace themselves for the release of GTA VI trailer three, but it’s not exactly clear when it might drop.
Unless you’re a gamer who has been living under a social media rock for the last couple of years or so, then you will be well aware that the next entry in Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series is on the way with GTA VI.
In fact, despite not being officially announced by Rockstar Games, we all knew that GTA VI was coming at some point, and when it does arrive, it will most likely be the biggest release in video game history, following on from the success of GTA V.
Rockstar Games is not afraid to delay
In December 2023, Rockstar Games dropped the first GTA VI trailer with a tentative 2025 launch window. However, GTA VI was later delayed to May 2026, before the second trailer was released.
Recently, GTA VI was delayed once more and got a new release date later in 2026. Fans of Rockstar Games will be familiar with its delays, so this news would have come as no surprise.
Advert
Yet, there could be some good news following the most recent GTA VI delay, and that’s the highly anticipated arrival of trailer three.
Just like when Rockstar Games announced the first GTA VI delay, it was followed by the second trailer not long after, which could mean that the third trailer is just days away.

Rockstar Games are creatures of habit
Sure, there’s a good chance that might not happen, but it’s also not outside the realm of possibility that Rockstar Games is a creature of habit. We just don’t know for sure exactly when the GTA VI trailer will drop.
As brought to our attention by Comicbook.com, this is a habit that was followed with Red Dead Redemption 2. For example, a game is announced. Trailer drops. The game is delayed, followed by a new trailer, and so forth.
That being said, with Rockstar Games being creatures of habit, there’s likely a good chance that GTA VI trailer three will drop on a random afternoon, just as we’re all preparing to go home from work, here in the UK.
Of course, this is mere speculation at this point, but when that third trailer does drop for GTA VI, we’ll be sure to update you right away. Hopefully, we’ll be waiting sooner rather than later.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to be released on Thursday, 19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
