Despite being the most anticipated media release of all time, when it comes to official information, we are still pretty much in the dark for Grand Theft Auto VI.
With Rockstar keeping details close to its chest, it is hard to believe that we are just seven months away from the big day when Grand Theft Auto VI launches on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
There is no denying that the studio is shaping up for the world’s biggest video game launch but that has not stopped fans from worrying that Rockstar’s radio silence has certain implications.
Could there be another delay?

Earlier this year, Rockstar revealed that Grand Theft Auto VI would be delayed from a Fall 2025 release window to 26 May 2026.
To soften the blow, the studio also gave fans their second official trailer, alongside a myriad of screenshots and even an updating website showing off some of the locations and characters we can expect.
However, it was back in May that we last had our official update and with rumours of another delay being inbound, fans are eager for some news.
Well, thanks to Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive, we may be getting that news as early as next month.

This is because Take-Two will be hosting its quarterly earnings call which may not sound exciting, but it is usually the time where an update for Grand Theft Auto VI will also be provided.
The next call is scheduled for 6 November at 9.30pm GMT / 4.30pm ET / 1.30pm PT and it is likely that a small update on development will come alongside.
Not only that but this date will mark six months until the release of GTA VI which would be the perfect time for a potential gameplay trailer to also be released.
If not, fans could at least receive news on a release date update or maybe even when they can expect pre-orders for the game to open.

Perhaps most exciting is that Game Informer are currently teasing fans by hyping up its November issue, hinting at some potential GTA VI news.
Insider GameRoll took to Twitter to share more information about this.
"In November 2012, after GTA 5 got its second trailer and was still scheduled to come out in the Spring, Game Informer was given a look at GTA 5 and dropped an exclusive issue about the game,” they shared.
"And as you can see in this screenshot, they’re now quite considerably hyping up their November 2025 issue.

"This is almost certainly a gigantic reach but maybe, could it be that history will repeat itself and Rockstar will work with them again to share exclusive details about GTA 6?
Possibly following Trailer 3? November is currently the most likely timeframe for new information after all."
It remains to be seen what this entails but it is definitely worth keeping an eye out on both of these events if you are eager for some more news surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI.
