It’s another day ending in ‘y’, meaning that GTA VI has had a new rumour surface.
As one of the most anticipated games of the next year, GTA VI has got fans foaming at their mouths for crumbs of new information.
Rockstar Games is pretty secretive when it comes to information about the game, and while we’ve had some nice trailers and screenshots to look at for the time being, we still don’t have any solid gameplay.
This new leak comes from Tez2, a Rockstar dataminer who has had a decent track record in the past when it comes to new leaks and rumours.

The report suggests several in-game websites that could appear in GTA VI, ranging from parodies of Uber and WhatsApp, to OnlyFans and Venmo. As with all leaks, be sure to take this with a grain of salt.
“Rockstar's cooking with these names for sure,” wrote a fan on Reddit.
“I’m glad that it seems like Rockstar’s sense of humour still hasn’t evolved past 14 year olds,” wrote another.
“After Dan Houser's departure, I thought it would be the end of parody names in GTA, but after reading 'Hookers Galore,' I feel good about being wrong,” wrote another fan.

“I've also always found it funny the juxtaposition between the commentary they give in the story and what they do with their parody of real-life products. For example, GTA IV's story is about the falseness of the American Dream, how our identity and worldview are shaped by war and trauma, and how hypernationalism and its implications grow in the modern world. Only to turn on the TV in the game and see an ad for ‘Republicans in Space’ is wonderful.”
While not necessarily a Rockstar insider, Tez2 is familiar with Rockstar’s trends in announcements and event periods, and they also know what to search for when datamining through Rockstar’s websites and code.
So, while you should still keep these rumours at arms length, there is a large degree of credibility here.
Either way, it seems like websites being a returning feature for GTA VI is not a huge surprise. This feature began in GTA IV, where you could access computers from internet cafes and surf the web there.

It returned to GTA V with the addition of smartphones that allowed you to browse websites from anywhere in-game. So, it sounds like this feature will return for GTA VI.
