GTA VI is going to be loved by all at launch, but in the meantime it’s causing some arguments amongst fans.
Rockstar Games is due to give us another trailer for GTA VI any day now and hopefully it finally delivers some actual gameplay, as well as some news about the new iteration of GTA: Online.
In the meantime fans have been theorising on the game’s story, what kind of side activities we’ll be getting up to and even creating concept art of the game.
Some players have even gone to the trouble of drafting up a main menu for the game, one that’s a little snazzier than what we’ve had before. This was created and shared by Reddit user zZeWwSss and got fans talking about their expectations for the game’s visual identity.

Rockstar Games has never really put much time in main menus before, with GTA V loading the player into either the story or online mode straight away, and Red Dead Redemption 2 doing something similar.

Many fans don’t think we need to reinvent the wheel, like one that said: “I feel all Rockstar games need only to follow in Red Dead Redemption's footsteps in terms of the main menu. Just an image from somewhere in the game world, ideally contextual with wherever you last left off.
“So just like you laid out, top left VI, STORY/ONLINE upper right, beautiful live shot of an area of the game world as the rest.”

Others were less keen on the idea of GTA VI having a main menu at all, like one that stated “the Netflixification of game menus and its consequences have been a disaster for the gamer race.”
“This is nice for 45 mins of work,” said one more. “Although I don't agree, I will say I'd love to see a Cyberpunk 2077 style wallpaper that changes with the story, otherwise RDR2's changing wallpaper is probably what I'd look to expect.”
It’s such a minor detail that so many would overlook, but for others it’s one more thing to consider when looking at GTA VI as a full product.
Of course the important thing is the game is actually fun, and Rockstar Games is yet to make a bad open-world game in my opinion so I think we’re all good there. The worst thing GTA VI could do is overcharge players to play, apart from that it’s going to be Game Of The Year for sure.
