A new GTA VI map teaser has got fans puzzled over what it could mean, and I’m not sure either.
Earlier this year, Rockstar Games’ announcement that Grand Theft Auto VI would be delayed until 2026 came alongside the release of 70 fresh screenshots of the game’s various characters, locations, and vehicles.
One particular image has got fans speculating about the map, including how big it could be and what kind of details it will include.
The image features the character Brian Heder standing over what appears to be a section of map. It’s rumoured that this map is a small section of the map that GTA VI’s Leonida State will feature.

Here’s the image below so you can see for yourself.
Grand Theft Auto sleuths have enhanced the image and flattened it in order to see how the layout could look if viewed as an in-game map. And it appears that some fans are divided on what it will look like in the final game.
One fan has even flipped the image and added some markers to help identify what the map could look like in the full release, to which some fans have agreed.

“Ok honestly this is really good, that's most likely GrassRivers in the Southeast, I hope mappers take note of this,” wrote a fan in the replies.
However, another fan disagreed with this theory, stating that it "doesn't work with the community map or the projections no matter the orientation”.
Another fan has even suggested that the map isn’t even of Vice City or Leonida State, writing: “Maybe it’s of a different country? Looks like they are staging some kind of trip.”
At the end of the day, we’ll probably be waiting a while until we actually get a good glimpse of what the final map in GTA VI will look like. So, be sure to take all of this with a pinch of salt.
