With Rockstar Games finally giving us our first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer last December, fans are already calling out for more information on the much-anticipated title. Until then, it is down to said fans to analyse the short trailer to try and find out everything they can.

It is no secret that Grand Theft Auto 6 is rumoured to be bigger and better than any Rockstar title that has come before including Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. With the sixth instalment set to mainly take place in the Miami-inspired Vice City, that won’t be the only location we will get to see.

Check out the first official GTA 6 trailer below!

As the result of hundreds of leaks in recent years, it looks as though GTA 6 will not only cover the area of Florida but also surrounding states such as Georgia. The Flordian inspired map will feature Vice City (Miami) as well as surrounding points of interest including the Gator Keys, mountain areas, lakes, ports and other unnamed cities.

If these rumours are true, GTA 6 is set to be one of the biggest open-world titles of all times. However, fans haven’t just stopped there with one user over on r/GTA6 noticing a little detail in the official trailer.

“This shows how vast the map will be. Vice City is all the way out there!” they wrote, referring to a screenshot taken of protagonist Jason driving. If you look in the background, you will see the infamous Vice City and it is pretty far away, giving us just an idea of the expansive map.

“Man I can’t wait to drive around on this map with a motorcycle and the radio blasting”, one reply read.

Another said: “Damn, it's crazy how good people are at spotting small details like this. I literally watched the trailer like 15 times, stopping frame by frame to analyse everything, and then I come here and I see a bunch of details I hadn't seen at all. Like, I even missed the TV tower at the beginning, somehow.”

It may be a while before we see the full official map but with so much anticipation, let us hope it will live up to the hype.
